Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 July 2026
1. The service
LicenceMap ("the Service") provides curated comparative information about cryptoasset licensing regimes. The Service is informational only and is not legal advice (see the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms).
2. Accounts and access
Access to paid content requires an account and an active subscription. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure. Accounts are for a single named user; sharing access credentials or redistributing content within or outside your organisation requires a separate agreement.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, via our payment processor (Stripe). They renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.
4. Bespoke reports
One-off reports are prepared manually after payment and delivered by email, typically within five business days. If a request falls outside our coverage, we will refund it in full. Reports are informational research, not legal advice.
5. Intellectual property
All content, structure and compilation in the Service is owned by the operator of LicenceMap. You may use content internally for evaluating your own licensing options. You may not scrape, republish, resell or systematically extract content.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Service, attempt to access other users' data, or circumvent access controls.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Counsel introductions
On request, LicenceMap's operator may effect personal introductions to legal counsel in covered jurisdictions. Introductions are a distinct, fee-bearing service governed by the Counsel Introduction Terms, which form part of these terms for any client requesting an introduction.
